writing more personally

well, it's out there

thank heavens i hedged my bets by playing the long game, i.e. trying to come up a piece of software that is useful today but should still be accessible and useful in 20 years. what's the rush?

now, the downside is, it can be tough to know if anyone thinks it is useful today. i think i am either more paradigmatically idiosyncratic than i think i am (or would like to be) or, more generously, a bit ahead of the curve. i guess i'll make some youtube videos and see if that helps.

i cannot IMAGINE watching a GODFORSAKEN youtube video to learn how a piece of software works ... maybe if it was silent. but i am clearly going to have to talk in these videos ... FORSAKE IT ALL. i wish they had a setting to prevent the extreme compression from making all audio in youtube videos disgusting to listen to.

http://enough.support will be where the embeds live, if i get past my shame block. maybe i will even make them public and risk getting bullied by youtube users
