launching something that won't work
you just have to do it, i guess. you have to be proven right or wrong. it's definitely good not to have bet the farm on something, or bet anything, really. a few domain names.
it's hard to know what people actually want and want to stay away from vs. what "the media" implies they collectively demand & despise.
there's plenty to be said for the courage of one's convictions, i guess. and only one (real) way to find out.
